The Body Breakouts Treatment Pack comprises three key products: Medi-Zinc Cleanser, Chemical Peel Spray and Excelerate 15% - 5ml. Each contains potent, scientifically-proven ingredients. The cleanser's active component, Zinc Pyrithione, is a formidable antimicrobial, interrupting the life cycle of P. acnes bacteria, often a key contributor to acne. This mechanism aids in reducing inflammation and breakouts, promoting clearer skin.

The subsequent product, a Chemical Peel Spray, carries an optimal pH-balanced mixture of 10% Glycolic acid and 3% Salicylic acid. Glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), promotes exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and revealing a fresh, smooth skin layer. Concurrently, Salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), penetrates deeply into pores, dissolving sebum and debris to prevent clogging. This combination assists in combating active acne, preventing new breakouts, and reducing post-acne marks.

Excelerate is a high-potency salicylic acid treatment. This efficacious formulation is designed to systematically counteract acne formation by addressing the critical stages of acne development: comedones, bacteria, and inflammation. It maintains a balance in oil secretion, and its unique keratolytic action accelerates the turnover of skin cells, fostering flaking on the epidermis and inside the pores. This process aids in unclogging pores, a fundamental step in acne management.

  • Slightly wet your fingers and apply Medi-Zinc Cleanser to the affected areas daily.
  • Keep the product in contact with your skin for at least 5 min. This will allow the product to penetrate the follicles optimally. Tip: Keep the cleanser on your skin while you brush your teeth/bath, or get dressed.
  • Consistent application of Medi-Zinc Cleanser will result in continuous antimicrobial activity.
  • Apply Chemical Peel Spray on affected areas. Spray on the area and gently rub it in with your fingers.
  • Once per week: Apply Excelerate on affected areas.
  • If sensitivity occurs, reduce the application frequency of Excelerate and Chemical Peel Spray. Don't apply on open wounds.
  • Given the photosensitizing nature of Glycolic acid, applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays is crucial.

  • The exfoliated dead skin cells stick together inside the hair follicle, resulting in a clogged pore or comedone.

  • Inflammation of the sides of the hair follicle prevents the release of the exfoliated keratinocytes.
  • Increased cohesion of keratinocytes.

I have been struggling with pigmentation over a couple of years now and none of the more expensive over the counter brands really showed improvement.
