Your Dermal Diagnosis is one of the most complex and challenging skin types because all four barriers to skin health are present: dehydration, inflammation, pigmentation, and aging. However, the proper skincare ingredients and regimen can remedy these skin concerns. Your skin type needs medical-grade skincare more than any other skin type.

Your skin does not produce enough sebum (oil) to protect it from dehydration, allergens, and irritants. Therefore, it is susceptible to dehydration, inflammation, and overactive melanocytes (pigment cells) and has an increased risk of premature aging. Your skin also feels rough and tight and lacks radiance due to poor light reflection.

Your skin is characterized by inflammation, clogged pores, pimples, and acne breakouts. The inflammation leads to hyperpigmentation and an increased risk of skin aging, making the use of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients mandatory.

ADPB skin types also have an impaired skin barrier, meaning that allergens, bacteria, and irritants can more easily enter the skin. Water evaporates off of the skin, leaving it dry. You struggle to find the correct skincare products that do not aggravate your symptoms.

Consistent everyday use of the correct products will allow your skin to repair itself, hold onto water, and reduce its tendency for inflammation and pigmentation.
